You Fu has launched its second branch in Woodlands Crescent, bringing its renowned wok hei fried Hokkien prawn mee to the northern residents of Singapore. The stall is operated by two young brothers who have already seen success with their stall at Golden Mile Food Centre.
Menu Highlights:
- Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle: Available in $5 and $7 portions, praised for its wok hei and umami-rich flavor.
- Magic Pao Fan ($5): A new addition, featuring pearl rice fried and then soaked in the same broth used for the Hokkien mee.
- Sesame Oil Chow Mein ($5): Another new dish, consisting of udon in a sesame oil-spiked gravy with a peppery taste.
You Fu is situated in a coffeeshop setting in Woodlands, alongside other notable food stalls, including Jofa Meepok and a Japanese donburi stall.
